I was out taking some test shots for a photography project I am doing at the moment and I came across the Centre Point building right in the heart of London at the corner of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. For that part of town, apart from the BT transmission tower, it’s far taller than pretty much everything. On one hand it’s a bit of an eyesore, but on the other hand, I kinda like it in an odd way. Like taking a shining to the runt of a litter. I once bought a goldfish based on the fact that it was far and away the ugliest one on offer.
So, what do you think? Architectural masterpiece, or scar on the London skyline?
