I started retouching a series I shot on the weekend and I couldn’t resist a little taster of the series. Most of the shots we did were around a bridal theme, but more anti-bridal really. Cigars, stomping on flowers etc. But this was a quick little shot (off brief) we did at the start of the day and it worked out even better than it looked in my head.
The model for the shoot is the gorgeous Jess, make-up & hair by the mango loving, hand burning but 100% fabulous Alison and I was ably assisted by the wonderful Sime & the magnificent Andras.
There is a lot more to come, including a HiDef video of the day taken by Sime on his Canon 5D MkII.
Anyway, I just got a bit excited, so I thought I’d whack it up. Let me know what you think…

So I thought it was high time I posted about my ‘brother from another mother’, Simon Pollock otherwise known as gtvone. We’ve known each other for a very long time. Ever since we were hiding hors d’oeuvres in random places at his older brother’s engagement party in our pre-teen naughtiness. Not much has changed though.
He’s been working his heiny off getting around to an average of a couple of gigs a week with his beloved Canon 5D MK II shooting some of the worlds most famous musicians in some of London’s premier venues. The fantastic shot above is of course Adam Duritz from the Counting Crows who played Wembley last week. Click on the image to take you to the original on his website, or you can also follow Sime on his blog.
Anyway, check him out. I know he has some amazing acts lined up to shoot soon, so keep an eye out. In 6 months time he’ll have a Baby Bjorn strapped to his front and his camera bag on the back at these gigs which is very exciting! Start ‘em young eh Sime?
